- 6 medium apples Granny Smith or Honeycrisp
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Optional: chocolate nuts, sprinkles, sea salt
Wash apples well, dry completely, and insert sticks.
Melt sugar over medium heat until smooth and amber.
