In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Stir until sugar dissolves.
Step 3: Boil to Hard Crack Stage
Attach your candy thermometer. Boil the mixture over medium heat without stirring. Wait until it reaches 300°F (149°C).
Step 4: Remove and Cool Slightly
Once it hits 300°F, remove the pan from heat. Let it cool for 30 seconds. Be careful—this mixture is extremely hot.
Step 5: Add Cannabis Tincture
Stir in your cannabis tincture quickly but thoroughly. Add flavor and color now if using. Don’t overmix.
Step 6: Pour into Molds
Carefully pour the mixture into your prepared molds. Work fast before it hardens.
Step 7: Let It Set
Allow the candies to cool and harden at room temperature. This takes about 30 minutes.
Step 8: Store Properly
Once hard, pop them out and store in an airtight container. Keep away from heat and sunlight.
